Despite our best efforts in attempting to provide you with an error-free book, there were a few things that slipped through the editors. This page lists the errors that we know about in any editions.
Due to the multiple editions of the book, many of these errors may not be in your edition. If you see a change in this list that you don't see in your copy, it's likely that we've already fixed it. If you think you've found an error or omission in the book, please let us know!
- Page 20 308 has 4 DCNF Carbs.
In the table listing 308 History, the 1975 entry for the Ferrari 308GTB should have "4 Weber 40DCNF carburetors" and not 3. (The 246 had 3, since it had 1 per 2 cylinders. - Page 109 Tire Size Table.
Incorrect Tire Size: on metric rims, the tires must be metric. For the table entries with the metric rims, you CANNOT use the 240/55VR15 as listed in the table. The correct tire sizes for the 165x390mm wheels are: 220/55VR390 or 240/55/VR390.
